Tattoo After Care Instructions
DO
• Do thoroughly wash your hands before touching your tattoo.
• Do remove your bandage after 1-2 hours.
• Do use AQUAPHOR or HUSTLE BUTTER on your tattoo.
• Do use a NON-SCENTED lotion such as
AVEENO NATURALS.
• Do let your tattoo breathe.
• Do call your healthcare provider about questions or concerns regarding the healing process of your tattoo.
DON'T
•DO NOT pick, scratch, itch, peel, rub, shave over, or irritate your tattoo.
•DO NOT expose your tattoo to sunlight to sunlight for at least three weeks.
•DO NOT use Vaseline or Neosporin on your tattoo.
•DO NOT use a washcloth or loofah to wash your tattoo - use your hands.
•DO NOT soak your tattoo; no tubs, pools, lakes, or oceans.
DO NOT have sex, do drugs, or play rock-n-roll.
(Just kidding!)
See your doctor if you experience one or more of the following:
Fever Feeling waves of heat and cold Abnormal shivering Swelling of the tattooed area
Pus coming from the tattooed area Red lesions around the tattooed area
Areas of hard, raised tissue
